Kevin, CEO at Sportswear of Tomorrow explains why we opened in Romania in 2020. Where we stand and how we can help brands that face challenges or who seek for a real partner for their brand.
There are so many benefits of working with us. If you are based in Europe, you don't have to pay import duties when receiving your order. You don't pay a lot for shipping. You can visit us easily. We work with European suppliers of fabrics and trims only.
Latvia has a large textile heritage. However, in recent years, the job of seamstress has become less and less popular, while salaries kept increasing. In 2019, we decided to open up a 2nd plant in Romania to manage this part of the business better so we can continue to handle the growing demand for premium cycling-, running-, swim-, beach-, athleisure apparel.
We work together with renowned fabric mills such as CARVICO, MITI, SITIP, EFFE PI, LIEBAERT, SPORTSWEAR ARGENTONA and more. All fabrics are sourced from European suppliers to ensure top quality fabrics that result in beautiful, premium quality products. The recycled yarn is supplied by ECONYL or MITI GREENSOUL. As we source from fabric mills, that aren't far away, we also keep our carbon footprint low. Every detail matters.
Look for this logo on our samples, to see which of our garments have been fully made out of recycled fabrics. Contact us, to apply your artwork on the garment and start selling.
We work with the most renowned fabric mills in Italy such as MITI, CARVICO, SITIP, SPORTSWEAR ARGENTONA, LIEBAERT and many more.
Sportswear of Tomorrow started in 2002, as a brand of sportswear. We tried, like many amongst you, to find a factory that understood our needs as a startup. Unfortunately, after several years of trying and wasting a lot of money, we understood there is only 1 way: manufacture apparel by ourselves. And, to service brands, no matter their size, with premium product & communication.
